Privacy Policy

Yeodam Bueok (albapa.com) is an editorial recipe website. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information about you when you read it: what we collect, why, who else touches that data, and the choices available to you.
1. What this site is
This is a content site about Korean home cooking. There is nothing to purchase here, no account to create, and no payment flow of any kind. The information described below relates only to ordinary web browsing: pages you view, and the technical signals your browser sends along the way.
2. Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting and analytics tools record standard technical information whenever a page loads, such as:
- Approximate location derived from IP address (city or region level, never a home address)
- Browser type, device type and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, and the site or search engine that referred you
- General usage patterns aggregated across visitors
We do not ask visitors to type in a name, phone number, or physical address anywhere on this site.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files a browser stores so a site can recognize repeat visits. We use them, or allow third-party services described below to use them, for two purposes only: understanding how the recipes on this site are read, and, where applicable, showing relevant advertising elsewhere on the web. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will still function, though some preferences may not persist between visits.
4. Google AdSense and advertising
This site may display advertising served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can review or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's own tools:
- Google Ad Policies (policies.google.com/technologies/ads)
- Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads)
- Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy)
5. Analytics
We use aggregated analytics to understand which recipes are read, how long a page holds attention, and which parts of the site are confusing enough that people leave quickly. This data is reviewed in aggregate, not tied to an individual visitor's identity, and is used only to improve the writing and structure of the site itself.
6. How long information is kept
Aggregated analytics data is typically retained for a limited window, generally not exceeding twenty-six months, after which it is deleted or further anonymized. Advertising cookies set by Google follow Google's own retention rules, outside our control, described in the links above.
7. Children
This site is a general-audience recipe blog and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
You can clear cookies, browse in a private window, or use browser extensions that limit tracking. Opting out of personalized ads through the Google tools above will still allow the site to load normally; you will simply see less relevant advertising rather than none at all in most cases.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time as the site or the tools it uses change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.
